What is a giclee?

A giclee is a high resolution digital print recognized as a fine art print, like lithographs and serigraphs. giclee is considered one of the best techniques for reproducing original works of art. giclee prints look and feel like original art. Jill's giclees are printed with archival ink on fine art paper.

Brief History of Park Hall

Park Hall, along with Baldwin Hall and LeConte Hall, was constructed in 1939 by the Public Works Administration as part of President Roosevelt's New Deal. Located to the southwest of the Main Library, this colonial-style building has, as a prominent decorative feature, a cupola which rises through the center of its three stories and is floodlighted from the inside. Park Hall was named for Robert Emory Park, head of the English Department for many years. Today the building and an annex built in 1970 houses the departments of Classics and English.
