Brief History of Hirsch Hall
Hirsch Hall was completed in 1932 and named after a prominent alumnus and benefactor, Harold Hirsch. This handsome, three story, brick building is occupied by the Joseph Henry Lumpkin School of Law. The founders, William Hope Hull, Thomas R.R. Cobb and Joseph Henry Lumpkin were well respected attorneys, and Lumpkin, for whom the school was named, was the first Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court.
