"From an early age, I was enchanted by the creativity and expression possible in drawing, painting, and sculpting. My creative pursuits eventually led me to study at UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art, where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing and painting. Having grown to love the vibrant town of Athens, Georgia, the rich local architecture and university buildings became my favorite subjects. My inspiration comes from a vast number of local artists, the Great Masters, and watercolor artists like Andrew Wyeth. Watercolor is my medium of choice--stroking brush over paper with clean transparency and brilliance.”
